Trinity Lime Rock's

Capital Campaign

We made it!!

The funds were raised, and the building is completed.

Trinity Sunday, 2003 to see pictures of the Groundbreaking and our Parish Picnic celebrating the historic event!!

More than 10 years ago, Trinity's Long Range Planning Committee recognized that if we continued to grow at our current rate, we would soon be bursting at the seams.  Their words were prophetic!  Our Sunday School has grown, and every Sunday seems to bring a few more new faces to the Congregation.

A major capital campaign was established to address:

  • improving and maintaining our present plant and equipment, while
  • adding new space to our physical plant.

Here is a picture of the architect's initial rendering of the existing Trinity structures with the proposed addition of the space  we need.

Here are some of our Sunday schoolers back in 2000 checking out the plans...

Simultaneously, a building inspection service was engaged to ensure that we made the changes we need to our existing plant.

On Sunday, February 4, 2001 the Committee reported to the Parish --

Members of the first capital campaign committee

The financial hurdle we had to reach was significant, but, to the surprise of many, we made it.  And we added a new organ, too!

With everyone's help, we did it!!
