| The Feast of the Epiphany, 2002, at Trinity Lime Rock.
Following the 10:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist, the Parish moved on to three activities of the day: 1. "De-greening" the Church 2. Eating lunch 3. Celebrating as Parish, renewing the joys of Christmas, and entertaining each other. Here are a few pictures of the De-greening -- the process, in its own way, that families go through putting away the "Christmas decorations". At Trinity, it's a shared activity, as these pictures show (click on any of the pictures on this page to see them full-sized):
In the midst of this taking down and packing away, the adult choir was preparing for the entertainment to follow..... When we finished, we all ate lunch. Pumpkin soup and chili were the main courses. And then the entertainment began...
... and closing with an enthusiastic rendition of "The Twelve Days of Christmas" by the kids.
... and with Christmas over until another year, the Parish family went home.
You are welcome at Trinity Lime Rock! |
