People sometimes ask what Trinity Kids did on Sundays in the Summer BEFORE we started our  Summer Sports program!

Back when we didn't have organized activity for young people during the summer months, every  summer Sunday was a little bit different. 

The kids were left pretty much to their own devices after Sunday School ended for the school year, and they tended to drift away during the summer, although they usually came back when regular Sunday School started again in the autumn.  Sadly, that's pretty much the way most churches are.  It's really taken our Summer Sports program to make us realize what we should have been doing all along!

Since we have Summer Sunday School Sports at Trinity, however, we find that more young people attend Trinity during the summer months than at any other time of year except for Christmas Pageant.

Here are a few photos from Sunday, June 23, and Sunday, July 14, 2002.  These are the pre-summer sports years, but you can see that a few kids were still around.  Click on any of the pictures to see them larger.
