a Christian - Muslim Relations Lecture
| On Saturday, April 5 at 4pm the Islam Study Group at Trinity Church- Lime Rock will sponsor a lecture by Dr. Ibrahim Abu-Rabi of the Hartford Seminary. Dr. Abu-Rabi is the co-director of the Duncan Black Macdonald Center for the Study of Islam and Christian -Muslim Relations at Hartford Seminary and Professor of Islamic Studies and Christian Muslim Relations. He is the author of several books on Islam and travels and lectures widely across the world. Dr. Abu-Rabi will be accompanied by two other Hartford Seminary scholars-in-residence in this area of study. |
| A short initial presentation is planned with a question and answer period to follow. This is a wonderful opportunity for to get those "everything you wanted to know about Islam but were afraid to ask" questions answered and to explore a world about which most of us have known little until now. |
| Refreshments and further conversation will follow the program. All are invited. The event will take place in Trinity Church's Walker Hall. |
