In a small, rural parish church like ours, Christmas Pageant changes slightly each year to reflect the young people and the adults who are available.  So, please be sure to check the photos of three of our previous Christmas Pageants elsewhere on this website -- within most of the same costumes, and the same Gospel according to Luke, there is astonishing variety.

First rehearsal....

We apologize!!  There's only one good photo from the first rehearsal due to weak camera batteries.  Anyway, here it is!!  Furthermore, the first rehearsal was actually a week late, due to a major snowfall that resulted in cancellation of the scheduled first rehearsal.

Second and Third rehearsals...

The second and third rehearsals were a bit hectic.  The weeks before Christmas are always a little frantic, and family obligations took many cast members away for one or both of these rehearsals. 

Your webmaster/photographer was also the Pageant Director this year, and it was beginning to look like there weren't going to be very many pictures of this Pageant on the website.

...but finally, on the day of the Pageant, things actually did start to come together!! 

(To be truthful, it wasn't so much that things magically came together, it was really that the director stopped worrying so much about directing, and more about simply recording the cast in the process of doing the GREAT job we all knew they were capable of.  And, they did a SPECTACULAR job!!)
