Pantomime 2005
Arrival of the Magi
Since our Christmas Pageant tends to
follow Scripture pretty closely, it ends after the arrival of the shepherds, and
before the arrival of the "Three Kings" -- the Magi from the East described by
Matthew in Matthew 2: 1-12.
This year we concluded that if a lot
of Pageant was good, then just a little bit more Pageant would be even better.
And, so did our young people!! We thought that the Sunday after Christmas would be a great time for it.
Here are some pictures from our one and only rehearsal, the preceding Saturday.
(Click on any of the pictures to see a larger image).

Well, tomorrow is the
pantomime! Let's see how it goes! Hopefully we'll have more
pictures of the real thing.
As seems to be the fashion
this winter, we had both snow and some transitory illnesses to cope with.
But, the show must go on -- even with a slightly smaller cast than planned!
Here are some pictures from
the performance, presented during the Service of Lessons and Carols on
January 1, 2006.
