Was Summer Soccer 2006 successful? Well, during the Autumn 2006 soccer season, Trinity Kids played on school, recreational, travel, and "just for fun" teams in such varied locations as Maine, Texas, New York and Florida -- and here in the Northwest Corner of Connecticut. The skills they sharpened at Trinity helped them in their soccer adventures, and we like to think that they benefited from Summer Soccer at Trinity in other, more important ways as well.

Fortunately, after about 15 minutes the rain stopped and we all went out to the field for a short scrimmage. It turned out to be a good day to have cleats, because, while the field is extremely well drained, the grass does stay slippery for a little while after a rainstorm. | When we went to Coffee Hour with the rest of the parish community, we were all surprised to see that the hospitality team had produced a beautiful cake in honor of our second season of Summer Soccer. |
