We forgot
to take any pictures at our second session. Sorry! |

The tenth
session was made particularly memorable because another anonymous donor provided the
kids with caps! THANKS!! |

We had a real downpour at the beginning of
our 11th session, so we moved to the library for soccer videos.
Here's one demonstrator. |

... checking out her brand
new cleats. |

Our next demonstrator... |

and our next. |

Here we had a little competition.... |

Mrs. Cooke listens to some
Summer Soccer 2006 memories... |

...and another new cleats check! |
Fortunately,
after about 15 minutes the rain stopped and we all went out to the field
for a short scrimmage. It turned out to be a good day to have
cleats, because, while the field is extremely well drained, the grass
does stay slippery for a little while after a rainstorm. |
When we
went to Coffee Hour with the rest of the parish community, we were all
surprised to see that the hospitality team had produced a beautiful cake
in honor of our second season of Summer Soccer. |
