Chocolate SundayNormally, coffee hour at Trinity is not just a social occasion, it constitutes lunch for most of the congregation. Furthermore, it falls in the category of a free lunch -- something one just doesn't find anymore. Our ECW decided that for at least one Sunday there ought to be a charge for coffee hour as a fund-raiser. But, just to make contributions more than worthwhile, they provided their talents (and enlisted the talents of all of the bakers and cooks in the parish) to provide an array of chocolate desserts that would suffice to make the most committed chocoholic say "Enough!" So, on October 21, 2007, Trinity hosted their first Chocolate Sunday. Here are some pictures from that day. Click on any of them to see a larger picture: What do YOU think? Could Chocolate Sunday become a tradition at Trinity? |
