Trinity Sunday is our official parish birthdayIn past years, we've selected Trinity Sunday for such momentous occasions as the groundbreaking for our new addition. In 2008, we celebrated with a special liturgy hearkening back to the usual form of worship when Trinity was founded. This meant Morning Prayer, with suffrages from the version of the Book of Common Prayer that was in effect in 1873. We had special music, with soloists, and our recessional hymn was "Holy, Holy, Holy" -- just as it was at the service when our parish was founded.
And, as we do every year, we had our Trinity Sunday Picnic! |
