Bishop Wismar's 65 anniversary

In 2008, we joined Lutheran Bishop Cyril Wismar in celebrating the 65th anniversary of his ordination

Here, the participating Clergy are shown at the beginning of hospitality hour

The service was held on July 26, 2008.

Bishop Wismar has special close ties with Trinity due both to his service here as our interim rector between the Rev. Beth Long and the Rev. Dr. Rob Clements.

He was also an active participant in the National Lutheran-Episcopal Dialogues II and III that led to shared communion between our denominations.

We are honored that Bishop Wismar elected to celebrate his 65th anniversary of his ordination with us.
