Interfaith Thanksgiving Service, 2009

In 2009, it was again Trinity's turn to host the community interfaith Thanksgiving service. The service was held at Trinity on Thanksgiving eve, November 25.
It began at 7 PM, with choirs from participating religious organizations assembling at 6 PM to rehearse the special music for the service. All faiths were invited; clergy or lay leadership or musicians from our Muslim, Hindu, Jewish, Congregational, Methodist, Pentecostal, Unitarian, Roman Catholic and Episcopal communities participated in the service.
The offering was for the benefit of people who do not have enough to eat in this season when we give thanks via our friends at OWLs Kitchen.
