Q. What are
"penitential pancakes?" A.
What you eat at coffee hour on the first Sunday of Lent when the Shrove
Tuesday Pancake Supper was cancelled due to a snowstorm. |
Don't miss the photos of

Friday evening, January 8, the Rt. Rev. Laura Ahrens, Suffragan Bishop of
Connecticut, formally installed the Rev. Heidi Truax as Priest-in-Charge of
Trinity, making her the Second Vicar of Trinity Lime Rock. Here are a few
photos of the preparations for the Celebration of New Ministry and the reception
that followed it (and don't miss the link at the bottom of this section to
more!).

Part of an Celebration of New Ministry
is the exchange of gifts between the Priest and the Parish.
Here's the table of gifts before the ceremony began. |

Here are the altar flowers.

Many thanks to Phillip Truax!! |
We started January with a near-blizzard on Jan 3 -- but we still had good
attendance, a new processional Crucifer, and a guest musician! (If you
missed the service due to the weather, you can still
read Pastor Heidi's sermon HERE.)

Doug Schmolze, our guest musician, sang
and played the guitar |

We had a new processional crucifer |

of course! |
