--Lime Rock Park held
its major race weekends this year -- generally with Pastor Heidi Truax
offering the invocations. We continue to enjoy good relations with
our neighbor and wish them a safe and successful conclusion to this
racing season and a fine one next year as well!
--The New York Cycle Club
visited us for their annual stop during their Berkshires Ride.
Always great to see these folks! More photos at
www.facebook.com/trinitylimerocksports.

--Walk-Talk-Pray continues, as it did all winter long, Friday mornings
at 8 AM. For the really cold months we walked on the indoor track at Hotchkiss (yes, joggers
were welcome,
too!), but now that spring is here we're back outside.
Meet in the parking lot at Trinity on Friday! Five walkers (and
joggers) and five dogs at one recent session....and thanks to the
Lakeville Journal for the great page 2 write-up!
--Northwest United
Soccer Club has finished up their very exciting and successful spring soccer season,
is into their fall season, and
we're staying in touch regarding their eventual use of Reid Field as
well as other ways we can help them.
--The Bishop's 5K for Kids was held May 14 in West Hartford,
with fundraising for sponsorships ongoing.
As well, Trinity's Outreach Committee made a donation to be a sponsor
of the event. Randy Orzano organized the Trinity Lime Rock
team.

You can learn more about the Bishops 5K
HERE -- and you can also sign up or pledge to contribute in
support of a competitor. This year we had a yard sign in our front yard
and we suspect is was the farthest west sign for the event. What
do you think?

--The
Upper
Housatonic Valley National Heritage Area is working on a bike
trail along the Housatonic called "HouBike" -- of course we support it,
and we're hoping that it will pass right by our
doors! We've welcomed bicyclists ever since we were the site of
the Golden Rod Cycle
Race Track in the 1890s! We're expecting their annual visit
from the New York Cycle
Club during the Memorial Day weekend tag and bake sale.
--Summer
Sports for Trinity Kids started on Sunday, June 26 and was back in
the field every Sunday this summer at 10:15 AM!! Sports this
summer included some new ones (croquet -- see below, and bocce).
Lots of pics are on the
Trinity Lime Rock Sports Facebook page.

--The CROP Walk at Housatonic Valley
Regional High School will include a contingent of walkers from
Trinity Lime Rock. Watch for our new green tee-shirts!
--The kids will be going bowling
later this fall. Two girls from Trinity are playing volleyball
this fall for Housatonic, and one girl is rowing and one boy is playing
soccer at boarding school.
