Community Thanksgiving

When Christ Church in Canaan closed, many of the community activities of that parish came along with a number of their former members to Trinity.  One such was participation in and  support of the Community Thanksgiving dinner.  That service to the community of North Canaan (and the wider area as well)  that the North Canaan Congregational Church traditionally served to the community at Pilgrim House became a Trinity activity as well.

Trinity folks — and lots of people from the community — showed up the day before Thanksgiving to peel, chop, and otherwise prepare, and then again on Thanksgiving to serve (and eat).  Here are a few photos, courtesy of Pastor Heidi and Pastor Savage Frieze of the North Canaan Congregational Church! We hope that everyone had a wonderful Thanksgiving!!
