We’re happy to announce that there is an invitational photo show coming up in the Trinity Gallery. While particulars are on the poster below, please note that the opening reception for this show will be on Saturday evening instead of Friday evening.
This Sunday, October 2, is the Sunday we celebrate the Feast of St. Francis and hold our annual blessing of the animals.
Unlike many churches that separate the pet blessing from their worship, we do the two together — during the 10:30 AM Holy Eucharist!
Pets do need to be leashed or caged, but otherwise, bring them along! We’re always surprised at how well they conduct themselves, even in an unfamiliar place with other animals and people they don’t know.
If you’re worried about what you will do with your pet when you are receiving Communion, worry no more. Just look for someone wearing one of these badges and let him (or her) take care of your pet for those moments.
And, why not download your bulletin now!
We’re happy to provide you with a copy of Trinity’s bulletin for Sunday, September 25.
To read it, simply click it and it will download.
Of particular interest:
–Following the 10:30 service, join us at the CROP Walk at Housatonic Valley Regional High School
–After the CROP Walk, Crescendo is providing a free concert of the music of Mendelssohn at St. Mary’s Church in Lakeville.
It’s a busy Sunday for everyone!!
Trinity’s chapter of the Episcopal Church Women (ECW) will host an Artisan Sale and a Bake Sale on Saturday, June 18, continuing Sunday, June 19.

==On the World Stage==
Trinity’s Music Director (and founding Artistic Director of Crescendo), Christine Gevert, will be in Bolivia for the next few days, performing at the XI Early Music Festival , the largest festival of Early Music in the world (more than 1000 musicians from all over the world, playing 146 concerts over ten days). Christine is slated to perform six of those concerts.
One of hers will be on the sole historic organ that survived from the days of the Jesuits in colonial times, and we’re hoping she brings back recordings. Here’s the schedule for the Festival:
Here’s a link to the Festival Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/apacfestivales/
And an eye-catching graphic!
This Sunday at Trinity:
Yes, we currently have our music director in Bolivia — but don’t worry, we’ll still have music at Trinity on Sunday: Doug Schmolze will be back!
