| After a successful capital campaign, Trinity undertook some much-needed
improvements to our physical plant (which was last expanded nearly 50 years ago,
in the early 1960's, when Walker Hall was constructed). Jim Childress, AIA, of the Centerbrook Architectural firm, designed an
addition to accommodate our Sunday School, to provide handicap-accessible
bathrooms, to provide administrative and volunteer space, and to permit removal
of some "temporary" (and never really satisfactory) cubicles that had
housed some of these functions and greatly
reduced the functionality of Walker Hall. On this page and the ones following
we'll take you through the process of creation of this wonderful new space --
and the improvements that it is permitting in our older spaces as well.

We hope you enjoy the pictures, but what we really hope is that you will come
and see our place in person!

With no further ado, let's get started.
On Trinity Sunday 2003 Bishop Curry broke ground for the addition.

Green surveyors tape marks the outline of
the addition, with Walker Hall in the background. |

St. Francis views the scene. (He's waiting
the construction out in the garage, and will soon be overlooking a new
Sunday School garden!) |
