Each year, on the Sunday closest to the Feast of St. Francis, Trinity Lime Rock holds a Blessing of the Animals.

Every year we're amazed and delighted how so many dogs (and the occasional cat or other beast) remain so quiet and tranquil throughout the service.

MORE Easter (and Spring) 2005 at Trinity Lime Rock Our multi-talented Organist and Choir Director has a previously undiscovered talent: photography! Here are several of her photos from this spring she graciously consented to share with us. Thanks, Christine!

Easter 2005 at Trinity Lime Rock Here are photos of our kids and adults taken Saturday and Easter Sunday. Click on any of them to see a larger image.
Saturday morning was busy at Trinity. The kids dyed Easter eggs.	The Altar Guild polished the brass while the Flower Committee decorated.	Easter Eggs were indeed a popular undertaking.
...with both kids and parents	Some of the kids needed a little assistance	...but for others, it was a high speed production process.
...and the results began to add up.	Easter Sunday, after the 10:30 Festival Eucharist, the kids enjoyed an Easter Egg hunt.	The youngest started out first, so they had an opportunity to get a good collection.
The bigger kids joined in	Moms were on hand to assist where needed	...and whole families enjoyed watching the proceedings
Meanwhile, in Walker Hall, adults (and young adults) were enjoying Coffee Hour	...and no doubt reflecting on how our facilities this year are so much more comfortable than they were last year at this time.	Easter is always a time to catch up with old friends.
...and young and old enjoy it.	Last year at this time, the adults pictured here were watching their young people prepare for Confirmation.	We were honored to have soprano Alicia DePaolo and oboist Judith Dansker (seen here with Music Director Christine Gevert) perform Domine Deus from Vivaldi's Gloria during the 10:30 Holy Eucharist.
There's something for everyone at Coffee Hour. Here, it's salsa and chips!	The remains of the Bunny Cake, with its creators. Hilly and Olivia have been providing us with an Easter bunny cake since they were little kids (and you can see pictures of some of the earlier version in our Sunday School photo albums).	These young men remember Walker Hall before our new building -- and they look a little bit awed with how spacious it now is.

The Choir of Trinity Church, Wall Street -- also October 3, 2004 At Trinity Lime Rock, we're very fortunate to have the superb Choir of Trinity Church Wall Street as annual visitors. (You'll find pictures of their visits in previous years on this page, and you'll find more links on our Music page). Each year they pose for a formal picture. Jack Bartlett Baptized!!

December 21, 2003 marked the Baptism of Jack Bartlett!! Click the thumbnail below to see the entire baptismal party, along with the quilt the Sunday School made for Jack that day, and the traditional bear our ECW gives the kids baptized here.

You can also see Jack appearing as a cow in our 2003 Christmas Pageant.

October 5, 2003 was a major Sunday at Trinity. We have celebrated the Feast of St. Francis with a blessing of the animals for several years now (you might want to to see some pictures from that occasion in 2001), and 2003 was no different in that respect.

What made it different this year was that our choir friends from Trinity Church Wall Street were also back with us again that day and again brought us their wonderful music!! to read about the visit of Trinity Wall Street's choir to us in 2002.

As a parish, we were BUSY the weekend of July 12-13, 2003. First, on Saturday evening, we enjoyed a picnic to benefit for the General Fund, followed by a performance of Beethoven's Missa Solemnis at the Berkshire Choral Festival. Here are some pictures from the picnic:

Sunday seemed to dawn extraordinarily early that weekend! While we had an 8:30 a.m. Holy Eucharist at the church, the 10:30 a.m. service was canceled for the day so that the parish could go visit our good friends from the Millerton Presbyterian Church at their 9:30 a.m. service. Those wonderful people had lent us their choir for several special events this spring, and when they invited us to their house, it was scarcely an invitation we could decline -- and we were glad that we accepted! Here are some photographs from our visit with them.

Following the service, which included a special Holy Eucharist (the Presbyterians were sensitive to our practice of having Eucharist every week, and deviated from their normal practice to have a special one with us, for which we were both delighted and grateful), as well as a rendition of Dave Brubeck's Alleleujah, from "To Hope", by the combined choirs, this time with the addition of drums, we adjourned to a familiar institution in both churches: coffee hour. Here are some pictures from that memorable coffee hour.
