Greening of
the Church
After Holy Eucharist
on the fourth Sunday of Advent, during coffee hour, our parishioners
traditionally join with the
Flower Committee
in spending an hour or two decorating our church for the Festival of Christmas.
It's called
the
"Greening of the church"
Everyone helps out, from the youngest
to the oldest, and in the process, everyone has quite a bit of fun.
Here are some Greening of the Church
photos from past Christmases at Trinity Lime Rock.

Interestingly, but not altogether surprisingly, once Christmas is over and
Epiphany is here, it is time for the DE-Greening of the Church. Yes, we
make an event out of that, too!
