Trinity Sunday is our official parish
birthday
We
celebrate this day, which falls in the liturgical year on the Sunday
following Pentecost, with worship (of course), some really special
music, and liturgy that hearkens back to the foundation of our parish
church.
As we
do every year, we have our annual Trinity Sunday Picnic!!
|
Here are some pictures from our 2009
Trinity Sunday picnic
|
|

We welcomed back former Junior Warden Jane
Tuttle, now retired in North Carolina. |

We had a big crowd, requiring the services
of three chefs and three grills. |

The picnic is always a great time for
conversation |

Some diners |

There was lots of conversation |

The dessert table was, as always,
spectacular. Here, a young parishioner faces major decisions.... |

Two parishioners, caught posing! |

The kids were among the first to the food
table. |

A parishioner shared the bounty of her
garden with the parish. |

Another luncheon scene |

Still another luncheon picture |

...and another... |

The weather was almost too good, and the sun was bright, so many people
moved into Walker Hall |

...but we kept an eye on the kids. |

And that's our Trinity Sunday album for 2009! Come join us for our
Trinity Sunday Picnic next year!! |
