About this site ...

Some interesting facts about this website:

In August 2006:

  • We decided that we needed to move to a new webhost -- not because the website wasn't being hosted well, but because the e-mail for the parish got to be too much to handle at our old host.  So, we've moved to Banner as our new host.  Visitors to the website may notice that the pages now load a bit faster, but we know that our parish staff and volunteers have already noticed lots of improvement in their e-mail.  Also, we upgraded to Comcast for broadband support, and since have upgraded again to ATT.
  • Our most popular page changes with the season.  As summer approaches, it tends to be the summer sports page.  Our Palm Sunday crafts page gets lots of attention as that Sunday approaches.  As Christmas approaches, it becomes the Christmas Pageant section.  Our pages for Blessing of the Animals tend to get frequent visits, as, of course do the annual visits of the Choir of Trinity Church Wall Street.

Some website data (from Google™ Analytics™) for those who are interested

 How many people visit us

Here are some stats. Most weeks more people come see us and stay longer, but Christmas week is a time when people have lots to do beside surf the web.

How many visitors return

It's nice to see that people come back to our site again and again.

 Where our visitors come from

Well, it's not surprising that most of our visitors come from the Northeastern US because that's where we are.  But it's always nice to see that they come from all over the world as well.

 How people find our website

Google™ has been great for Trinity!  But we're also very happy to see how many visitors find us in other ways:  Yahoo™, specialized websites, and direct lookups are really nice to see.

Technical details about our website:

This site was prepared and is maintained by Between the Lakes Group -- Recovering local historyBetween the Lakes Group, LLC, using (principally) Microsoft® FrontPage® 2003.  We tried Microsoft's new Expression Web but found it a bit more complex and non-user friendly than we needed, so we're sticking with FP.

Geoffrey Brown, who is also Principal Partner of Between the Lakes Group,  is our webmaster. View Geoffrey Brown's profile on LinkedIn
