| At Trinity, the Flower Committee is a very active subcommittee of the Altar Guild. Made up of several members, it rotates responsibility for preparation of the altar flowers -- as well as flowers for the oblation table in the back of the church, for a small table outside the sacristy, and for flowers on the children's altar -- among its members. On the fourth Sunday of Advent each year, it enlists the aid of the larger parish family in what has become one of the major non-liturgical events in the life of the parish: "The Greening of the Church" -- and, after Christmas, the "De-greening of the Church"
