We captured some wonderful Easter pictures this year at Trinity Lime Rock, but we want to start off with one of the Easter egg hunt on Sunday following the 10:30 AM Festival Eucharist.
However, we’ve got more, beginning with Friday evening’s Good Friday observance, continuing with activities on Saturday during the day, and the Great Vigil of Easter in the evening, and, of course, Easter Sunday. Those photos and photo albums are found on our Facebook page.
Here are direct links to each:
Click HERE to see a short video of the choir warming up for the Good Friday service. You’ll also find a few photos of that particularly moving service in our Facebook newsfeed. Click HERE to see photos of Saturday daytime activities at Trinity. Click HERE to see more photos of the Easter vigil, and click HERE to see (and hear) a portion of the Exsultet from that service. And click HERE to see some photos of the 10:30 AM Easter service.
If you dig a little deeper in our Facebook page you’ll see lots more than Easter pictures, because we are a year-round church, one with a choir every Sunday and activities for young people every Sunday, year round.
Here’s one more photo of the Easter egg hunt from Patrick Sullivan and the Lakeville Journal:
Here’s the bulletin for Sunday December 10 at Trinity Lime Rock!

You can review it at home, or you can use it at church in place of a paper bulletin, if you wish.
Meanwhile, today, Saturday, don’t forget the Holiday Bazaar that starts at 2 PM and includes such varied attractions as a wreath sale, wonderful things to buy for that hard-to-please someone on your list, chili dinner, lighting of the Lime Rock Community Christmas Tree, and lots more! You can learn more about it here:
See you soon at Trinity Lime Rock!!

Trinity Sunday is the day we celebrate our birthday, so it’s an even bigger day at our house than it would otherwise be.
There will be special music, and our annual Trinity Sunday picnic follows the service. All are welcome, there will be hot dogs and hamburgers to grill, and if you could bring a dish to share (side dishes, salads, desserts) it would be great.
Without further ado, here it is:

Something particularly noteworthy in this issue: Trinity is honored to have been been selected as one of only six parishes in the entire Diocese of Connecticut to participate in a new project called “Living Local: Joining God”. You can learn more about this initiative, and who will be representing Trinity in it, in this issue.
