+++WHAT’S COMING UP AT TRINITY?+++
“Search,” as the process is now called, has changed greatly in the past 16 years, so this will be a period of discovery for all of us. The last session for this school year was held June 22. Throughout the year children or all ages attend worship services with us — and we are delighted to have them!! We are also delighted to welcome the Hotchkiss School students who chose to worship with us! We welcomed 13 of them on Easter, in fact! They’ve gone home now for summer break, so we’ll be welcoming them back in September when school reconvenes.

We’re located in Lime Rock, a neighborhood of Lakeville, in the Connecticut’s picturesque Northwest Corner. More about where we are….

Our mission statement (or motto) is: “Companionship along the Way” — and we live it. It’s a pretty good description of what we do at Trinity — and also what we do outside our walls.

Clergy Transition
Trinity Lime Rock has been blessed with many vibrant leaders, lay and ordained, over our 150+ year history. Since the Rev. Heidi Truax retired on June 30, after 16 years with us, we are currently in the process -- and the waiting time -- between ordained leaders.
During this time, our Wardens, Linda Lloyd and Cheryl Duntz, assume some of the responsibilities normally be held by our clergy. The Vestry has nearly completed a parish profile that highlights who we are and what our hopes are for our next priest in charge.
If you are ordained clergy and believe God might be calling you to discern with us, please send a Letter of Interest, a current resume or CV, and a current OTM profile to ECCT’s Canon for Congregations and Transitions, the Rev. Dr. Kevin Olds, (kolds@episcopalct.org) and mention your interest in Trinity Lime Rock.
Miscellaneous things to know about Trinity
Accessing the internet is easy at Trinity. We offer free wifi coverage (the guest wifi password is TrinityCH484) in a mesh wifi network throughout the entire building and in the immediate area around it. Depending on what other wifi access you have -- such as ATT or Xfinity -- you may be able to access one or more of their networks via a local hotspot. Finally, thanks to Lime Rock Park, Trinity has great cellular coverage for ATT customers and others who use their network.
People ask: How do I donate flowers to Trinity in memory of a loved one? The easiest way to do this is to sign up on the chart posted in the Guild Room for a particular Sunday. Then, put a check in the offering with "Flowers" on the memo line so it is correctly credited. It's NOT necessary that you provide the actual flowers yourself; our Flower Committee is made up of motivated flower arrangers who will take care of that for you.
