Baptism at Trinity
Baptism is a ritual that has been part of the church since John the Baptist baptized Jesus in the Jordan River. It’s a sacrament we particularly love at Trinity because it’s a celebration of beginnings, of naming, of caring, of potential, of possibilities, and it reminds us of our own baptisms.
Is there a new member of your family who you might want to have baptized at Trinity? Did you skip baptism yourself when you were younger and are wondering about it now? We very warmly welcome your inquiries….
Please contact us for more information. On Sundays, we have visiting clergy who can perform baptisms, but advance notice is required.
Confirmation at Trinity
We have a Confirmation Class at Trinity when we have young people who are ready to be confirmed. We are glad to include our Hotchkiss students who choose to be confirmed here instead of their home parish.
One was recently completed, and the next class will likely await the arrival of new clergy. Please contact us if Confirmation is high on your family agenda!
Weddings at Trinity
Because of the lovely setting of our historic, couples from all over the nation have chosen Trinity Lime Rock as the spot to exchange their holy wedding vows. Recently a couple all the way from Texas honored us by permitting us to be the site of their wedding.
And, of course, local people — some parishioners and some not — marry at Trinity as well. Here’s the wedding party from one recent wedding!
Are you interested in a wedding at Trinity? We very warmly welcome your inquiries!
Please contact us to determine how we can best help you. While we are currently in a clergy search process, we can provide you with alternatives that may be appropriate for your situation.
