YOU are welcome at Trinity Lime Rock!

We are a caring and committed parish community, grounded in God’s love and in our service to one another and to the world around us. At our core is a strong sense of family: parishioners who genuinely support and care for one another, creating a welcoming and nurturing environment for all, including those who may visit for only a day.

Our mission statement (or motto) is “Companionship along the Way”—and we live it. It’s a pretty good description of what we do at Trinity — and also what we do outside our walls.

No matter who you are or where you are on your personal journey and journey of faith, you are welcome to visit us, worship with us, and perhaps join our parish family.

About Our Clergy Transition

Trinity Lime Rock has been blessed with many vibrant leaders, lay and ordained, throughout our 150+ years of history. Since the Rev. Heidi Truax retired on June 30, after 16 years with us, we are currently in the process — and the waiting time — between ordained leaders.

During this time, our Wardens, Linda Lloyd and Cheryl Duntz, assume the non-liturgical responsibilities normally held by the clergy. The Vestry has completed a parish profile that highlights who we are and what we hope for our next rector.

In partnership with Trinity Torrington, we are seeking a new full-time rector who will serve half-time at each church. Many Episcopal parishes are currently seeking clergy, and we anticipate that together we present an attractive opportunity for the right priest.

If you are ordained clergy and believe God might be calling you to discern with us, we invite you to send a Letter of Interest, a current resume or CV, and a current OTM profile to ECCT’s Canon for Congregations and Transitions, the Rev. Dr. Kevin Olds (kolds@episcopalct.org), and be sure to mention your interest in Trinity Lime Rock.
