Welcome to Trinity Lime Rock!

Sunday Services at 8 and 10:30AM
Easter at Trinity Lime RockTrinity Lime Rock is an Episcopal parish  located in the Lime Rock neighborhood of the village of Lakeville, Connecticut, in the Northwest Corner of the state.  You are welcome at Trinity!  Our parish motto is “Offering Companionship along the Way”

Sunday Worship at Trinity:

We offer a quiet, contemplative Holy Eucharist at 8 AM most Sundays. Usually there is no music at this service.

Our principal Sunday service is our 10:30 AM Holy Eucharist, with Choir and organ.  This service is also available as a livestream if you cannot attend in person.  Quite a number of people do join us on the livestream and you are certainly welcome to be one of them. Some other services and events are occasionally livestreamed, and you can watch them here as well.

Missed the service?  Did you know that you can view the livestream up to a week later?  Simply click the “View Trinity’s Livestream” button and select the missed service from the menu of services available.  And every Sunday, coffee hour is live both in person and on Zoom, so you’re welcome there as well!

+++WHAT’S COMING UP AT TRINITY?+++

We’re in Holy Week:

Bible  Study (online) and Sunday School (in person)(and via Zoom when necessary) for young people have resumed.  There won’t be Sunday School on Easter Sunday (but there WILL be at Easter Egg Hunt after the 10:30 AM service.  Bible study (online) is currently studying the Gospel according to Luke and will meet Holy Thursday but not the following Thursday.

There’s lot’s more to come!!  Pastor Heidi has announced her impending retirement on June 30, so, after 16+ years of the comfort of having her as our spiritual leader — and so much more! — we are preparing for a period of transition to new clergy.  “Search,” as the process is now called, has changed greatly in the past 16 years, so this will be a period of discovery for all of us.

Just a note to parents:  In a small parish like ours, Sunday School for young people works out better when we know which young people will be present, so we ask that if you plan to bring your young people and would like for them to attend Sunday School, please call the parish office and leave a message, or e-mail the Rector so we’ll be ready.

We are delighted to welcome the Hotchkiss students who chose to worship with us! You’ll often see a Hotchkiss student reading the Epistle (second reading) at the 10:30 AM service when school is in session and Hotchkiss events like Parents Weekend and exams don’t conflict.

For more information about current programs at Trinity, we recommend that you subscribe to our weekly e-mail newsletter, the Trinity Update.  You can subscribe HERE and, of course, you can unsubscribe at any time. (please note that your subscription isn’t complete until you respond to the confirming e-mail.) The Trinity Update currently appears on Wednesday afternoons (and more frequently when necessary).  (Also, every week, usually on Saturday evening, we make a special post here on the website with a link to the Sunday bulletin and providing convenient links to all Sunday activities for which online access is available.)
