Palm Sunday at Trinity Lime Rock
While the weather sometimes intrudes a bit, our customary practice for Palm Sunday is for the congregation, choir, and acolytes to assemble for the 10:30 AM service in Walker Hall.
There, the Celebrant blesses the palms, and they are distributed to the congregation. Normally, the verger, followed by the acolytes, the congregation, the choir, and the Celebrant, then process outside. It’s customary at Trinity for everyone to sing “All Glory, Laud, and Honor” during the procession. We come back in the front door of the church itself (recalibrate a bit it we have gone off key), and the service continues.
When the weather is inclement, our procession is indoors.
