We are happy to welcome you to Trinity!
We are a welcoming worshiping community offering companionship along the Way. We’re located in the Lime Rock neighborhood of the village of Lakeville, Connecticut. That’s in the town of Salisbury, in the Northwest Corner of the state. You’ll find convenient driving directions and a Google map on our “where we are” page. You are welcome at Trinity!
Sunday Worship Times:
As COVID-19 risk has receded in our area Trinity has begun the gradual transition back to normal.
We now offer Holy Eucharist in person at 9 AM on Sundays. This is a quiet, contemplative service, without music. We do ask that you mask and that you are mindful of others.
Our principal Sunday service now — and through the summer — is our 10:30 AM online service. This service, which includes extraordinary music by our choir, by the Crescendo Vocal Ensemble, and guest soloists, is found on our You Tube Channel.
Misa for our Latino community have resumed as well. La Iglesia de la Trinidad is meeting for in-person services. Please e-mail firstname.lastname@example.org for more information about our Latino Congregation.
Our programs for Young People (Sunday School, Acolytes, Summer Sports) are on hold, but our kids age seven and up are taking their turn as readers at the 10:30 AM online service. They’re quite good!
For more information about our current programs at Trinity, we recommend that you subscribe to our e-mail newsletter, the Trinity Update. You can subscribe HERE and, of course, you can unsubscribe at any time. (please note that you subscription isn’t complete until you respond to the confirming e-mail.) The Trinity Update currently appears weekly on Wednesday afternoons and Sunday mornings (and more often when necessary).
A little about us:
Trinity Lime Rock is an Episcopal parish church in the Diocese of Connecticut, The Episcopal Church, and the Anglican Communion. The Rev. Heidi Truax is our Rector. (You can read more about Pastor Heidi HERE). The Rev. John Carter (Padre Juan) ministers to our Latino congregation. Pastor Heidi will be on sabbatical until September 1, and in her absence, our parishioner, the Rev. Marilyn Anderson, will be our sabbatical supply priest.
Our parishioners live mostly in three states: New York (including New York City), Connecticut, and Massachusetts — but we have active members in no less than seven states and on four continents — and our communities, obviously, are many. We collaborate with many community organizations and with other houses of worship. Trinity people are actively involved in our Diocese in several roles.
Our orientation as a parish tends to be more outward to the world than inward to ourselves. In addition to community activities at Trinity and in our communities in the Tri-State area, we’ve recently aided needy people in Honduras, the Holy Land, India, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Kenya, and elsewhere in the United States.
