We are happy to bring you the Trinity Times for June 2019! The Trinity Times is the monthly newsletter of Trinity Lime Rock, and it has been around in one form or another since at least the 1950s, when it was mimeographed.
Here’s the rota for 4th quarter 2018 (October, November, and December) at Trinity Lime Rock!

If you would like a paper copy and don’t have a printer available, there will shortly be paper copies available at Trinity.
One of Trinity’s strengths as a parish is the large number of parishioners who take an active role in our worship, either performing a role during it the service, or functioning in a support capacity without which the services would simply not be the same.
Thanks to all the volunteers!
Would you like to be in this number? There is something at Trinity for everyone to do. Simply speak to Pastor Heidi or to the Verger, Geoff Brown, if this is something you would like to explore.
The new Trinity Times for October 2017 is now available for download.

In case you’re unfamiliar with the Trinity Times, this publication has been appearing monthly, more or less, for at least 20 years, and is intended to provide a bit more information about selected events at Trinity — and in the world — than one can get from the short paragraph our weekly e-mail newsletter, the Trinity Update, could possibly contain.
If you would prefer to have the Trinity Times for October 2017 on paper, you can pick up a copy at Trinity. Usually there are copies on the table at the rear of the nave, on the table outside the door of the sacristy, or on the table at the doors to Walker Hall.
Two Recent Sermons by the Rev. Heidi Truax, presented here in a single post (with apologies from the webmaster for his lateness in getting the earlier of the two posted):
First, here’s our delayed post of Pastor Heidi’s sermon delivered October 23:

Here’s the Sunday Bulletin for our celebration of All Saints at Trinity Lime Rock. Download it and read it at home, or download it on your portable electronic device at Trinity.

Here’s more information about the Chant Workshop:
The Chant Workshop will be led by Trinity’s Music Director, Christine Gevert. She will teach singers the theory and practice of chant in both Latin and English. Besides providing instruction about in the technical aspects of this ancient practice, this workshop is also a vehicle to experience the spiritual aspect of chanting.
The Workshop will conclude with a public All Saints Evensong at 7 PM. It will include the chants learned in the workshop and some hymns. Trinity Choir singers and some guests will also sing Spanish and English Renaissance Polyphony. Singers that want to participate in this polyphonic repertoire, need to contact Ms. Gevert and will be invited to a prior rehearsal. Scores will be provided ahead of this rehearsal.
To register for the workshop, please send an email to: firstname.lastname@example.org The workshop is free of cost.
Participants are asked to bring some food to share for a light potluck dinner.
