Instructed Eucharist at Trinity
November 19 was the Youth Sunday for November, and, in addition to the young people assuming most of the roles in the service, they took on a significant part of the instructed Eucharist we hold from time to time. The instructed Eucharist is basically a series of planned interruptions of the service in which readers provide commentary about what has just happened and about what is going to happen next. We don’t conduct them frequently because the narratives do disrupt the flow of the service, but when we do, most people find it to be a learning experience.
It’s not just for the young people that we hold these, by the way. Most adults can still learn something about the way our principal worship service is conducted and why it is the way it is. For that reason we’ve decided to provide the script for this year’s instructed Eucharist so you can read over what you heard on Sunday.

The new Trinity Times for October 2017 is now available for download.
CLICK HERE to get your copy.
In case you’re unfamiliar with the Trinity Times, this publication has been appearing monthly, more or less, for at least 20 years, and is intended to provide a bit more information about selected events at Trinity — and in the world — than one can get from the short paragraph our weekly e-mail newsletter, the Trinity Update, could possibly contain.
If you would prefer to have the Trinity Times for October 2017 on paper, you can pick up a copy at Trinity. Usually there are copies on the table at the rear of the nave, on the table outside the door of the sacristy, or on the table at the doors to Walker Hall.
The rota for 4Q2017 — that’s the schedule of volunteers scheduled to serve at Sunday services for the fourth quarter of 2017 — is now available!

(And to our many volunteers: thanks for ALL that you do!)

Here’s Trinity’s Bulletin for June 25!
This is a special Sunday in a month of special Sundays. Pentecost, Trinity Sunday, a Youth Sunday, and now, a pulpit exchange between Trinity and the parish from which Trinity emerged back in 1873, St. John’s of Salisbury.
While Pastor Heidi will preach and celebrate at St. John’s, Fr. David Sellery, Priest in Charge of St. John’s, will be here at Trinity preaching and celebrating at the 10:30 AM Holy Eucharist.
Why not download a copy of the bulletin for June 25 now and read it over before church — or, of course, you can download it at Trinity and use it instead of a paper bulletin.
Either way,. here it is!
