04-15-2018 Easter 3 Youth Sun

Sunday will be the Youth Sunday for April, so you may want to download the bulletin and read the readings through ahead of time in case you are a young person and are assigned one to read in church.

Or, you may want to review the way the service runs.

You can download the bulletin now at home, or you can download it at Trinity and follow the service on your personal electronic device.

However you use it, we hope we see you on Sunday at Trinity!

Sermon for April 8

Here’s Pastor Heidi’s sermon from April 8 — the second Sunday of Easter, and generally considered “Low Sunday” due to its position following Easter Sunday, the biggest celebration in the church year.

While Easter Sunday was a great one at Trinity, Low Sunday wasn’t so low either!  Here’s the choir from Low Sunday, as an example:

Download it at home and look it over before you come, or download it at Trinity and follow the service on your personal electronic device.  We’ve got good wifi throughout the building, and thanks to our friends at Lime Rock Park, there’s good cellular coverage as well.

Quick question:  do you receive our weekly e-mail update, the Trinity Update?  It will arrive in your e-mail box each Wednesday afternoon if you sign up to receive it.  CLICK HERE to go to the signup page.

Easter Pictures

We captured some wonderful Easter pictures this year at Trinity Lime Rock, but we want to start off with one of the Easter egg hunt on Sunday following the 10:30 AM Festival Eucharist.

Easter pictures

Young people at the Easter egg hunt following the 10:30 AM Festival Eucharist. Our thanks to Patrick Sullivan of the Lakeville Journal for this photo.

However, we’ve got more, beginning with Friday evening’s Good Friday observance, continuing with activities on Saturday during the day, and the Great Vigil of Easter in the evening, and, of course, Easter Sunday.  Those photos and photo albums are found on our Facebook page.

Here are direct links to each:

Click HERE to see a short video of the choir warming up for the Good Friday service.  You’ll also find a few photos of that particularly moving service in our Facebook newsfeed.  Click HERE to see photos of Saturday daytime activities at Trinity.  Click HERE to see more photos of the Easter vigil, and click HERE to see (and hear) a portion of the Exsultet from that service.  And click HERE to see some photos of the 10:30 AM Easter service.

If you dig a little deeper in our Facebook page you’ll see lots more than Easter pictures, because we are a year-round church, one with a choir every Sunday and activities for young people every Sunday, year round.

Here’s one more photo of the Easter egg hunt from Patrick Sullivan and the Lakeville Journal:

Thanks to Patrick Sullivan and the Lakeville Journal for this Easter egg hunter in a hurry!

Sermon for April 23

Here’s Pastor Heidi’s sermon for April 23.  At Trinity we marked Earth Day, and as well it was the Young People’s Sunday for April.
