Here’s the Rota through November 7, 2021 at Trinity Lime Rock! (revised through October 3)

Trinity has returned to in-person worship both at the 8 AM and the 10:30 AM services, and the 9 AM service we added during COVID has been discontinued. We are committed to providing high quality online worship as well, and are proud of our professional livestreaming — it’s the 10:30 AM Sunday service, every week, as it occurs! We’re still getting used to it, but hope you will join us!

Our main Sunday service is now in person as well as livestreamed (see the home page for the link) and begins at 10:30 AM.

Rota for July 2021

Here’s the Rota for July 2021 at Trinity Lime Rock!

Trinity continues to worship both online and in person as hopefully we make our way past COVID-19. We are committed to providing both quality in-person worship and high quality online worship as well. The transition between our current form of online worship and livestreaming an in person 10:30 AM service is still being worked out, so this is a monthly instead of a quarterly rota.

Our main Sunday service continues to be online, on YouTube, beginning at 10:30 AM. In person worship is also available at 9 AM most Sundays.

The July 2021 rota is now available.

Thanks to all who serve!

Rota for Second Quarter 2021

Here’s the Rota for Second Quarter 2021 at Trinity Lime rock!

Trinity continues to worship online due to COVID-19, but as more people have been vaccinated, and as the level of infections continues to decrease (cross fingers on that!) we anticipate resumption of small in-person services, beginning with Easter. What will happen after that remains to be seen.

Our main Sunday service will continue to be online, on YouTube, beginning at 10:30 AM.

The Revised Second Quarter Rota is now available.

Thanks to all who serve!

Flowers for the Altar

Flowers for the Altar are an institution at Trinity, as they are at most churches. At Trinity, we invite parishioners and others to dedicate the flowers for a particular Sunday to the memory of someone who has passed, or in honor of someone, or to commemorate a special event.

Although it’s not necessary, people usually make a donation toward the cost of the flowers.

If you would like to have the altar flowers dedicated for a particular Sunday, this chart is the place to get started.
Flower Chart

During normal times, this chart resides on a bulletin board in Walker Hall for people to write in the Sunday for which they want commemorative flowers. But these are not ordinary times! While we are worshiping remotely, Pastor Heidi will be maintaining the flower chart in her office, and, if you wish to sign up, you can simply contact her and tell her the Sunday you wish. If it’s free, and if it’s not one of those Sundays when we do not have flowers (the season of Lent and Advent) she will fill in your name. You can donate via PayPal (write “Flowers” on the memo line), or send in a check (and, again, write “Flowers” on the memo line).

As you can see, Sundays in 2021 are beginning to be claimed. As you claim Sundays, we’ll update the chart.

People ask: How much do most people donate when they have flowers for a Sunday? The answer is that there is no fixed amount. Most Sundays the flowers actually cost around $50, so that may help you decide how much. But you do not need to donate anything if it’s not something you’re currently able to do. And if you can provide more than $50, it helps cover costs of Sundays when we have no donor, and also the decorations for Christmas, Easter, and All Saints Day.

We will be updating this chart frequently.

And thanks for your interest!

Floral Memorials List

Generous parishioners and others frequently make a donation to Trinity to provide the funds for the Flower Committee to have flowers on the altar on Sundays. Usually these donations are in memory of a loved one or friend, or in honor of someone living — or just in thanksgiving. The customary donation amount is $50, but a donation in any amount is acceptable.

If you would like to donate for the flowers this year, the list attached will let you know what Sundays are still available — June is completely committed but there are remaining opportunities in future months.

Flower Memorials 2020

If you would like to make a donation for flowers, please call the office or e-mail Pastor Heidi to reserve a Sunday.

Thank you for thinking of Trinity!
